Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) - Standards of Practice
Real Estate Inspectors are licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). Texas residents are fortunate not only for the fact that Texas requires home inspectors be licensed, but also because the TREC Standards of Practice is one of the most expansive in the nation. Archstone Home Inspections uses these Standards as minimum requirements, and we go above and beyond them in our real estate inspections. Jeff Worsham is licensed as the highest level of home inspector - Professional Real Estate Inspector: License number 9676.
Archstone Home Inspections - Sample Report
The home inspection report is divided into several sections; Structural, Electrical, Heating & Cooling, Plumbing, Appliances, and Optional Systems, with each of those sections broken into subsections.
To make our detailed reports easy to read, notes for each item are classified as “Comments” or “Issues”. “Comment” notes can include general information about the item, advice for future maintenance, and recommended repairs that are not urgent or major. “Issues” generally include only notes that indicate a deficiency.
